Actress and reality show star Shamita Shetty shared a very important video on social media. In this video, she is seen sitting on the hospital bed and behind the camera is her sister, actress Sushmita Sen. Shamita Shetty informed her fans that she is going to undergo surgery for Endometriosis and also states that the disease is quite painful. She further urged the women to get themselves checked for the disease as it is very common among this gender. She also passed a strong message to stay positive during such hard times.
In the caption, Shamity Shetty shared more information on the disease and wrote that around 40 per cent of women suffer from Endometriosis and that most women are not even aware of it. She thanked the team of doctors who found the root cause of her pain and the disease was surgically removed from her body. Shamita Shetty hoped for a fast recovery and pain-free days shortly.
