In recent events, pop star Shakira is all set to make a return to India in April 2026 with a two-city tour, including Mumbai and Delhi. Yes, you heard it right, the Grammy-winning and Guinness World Records will perform at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai on April 10, 2026, and at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on April 15. Shakira’s India Concert
For the unversed, this tour marks Shakira’s first major concert appearance in India after almost 19 years since her electrifying performance in Mumbai in 2007 during her Oral Fixation tour. Shakira announced the tour in a statement that said, “Performing in India has always been special to me, and I’m excited to connect with my fans across Mumbai and Delhi.” She also added that this tour was about standing together to ensure every child has access to nutrition.
The concerts are being organised by the non-profit Feeding India, in cooperation with District by Zomato. This iteration also marks the first time the Feeding India Concert will be hosted in different cities. Her latest Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour broke the Guinness World Record for the highest-grossing tour by a Latin artist, underlining her long-standing popularity and impact in global pop music.

The news brings India into the increasing list of worldwide tour locations for renowned international bands. It comes after news of Ye’s upcoming solo gig in Delhi, which solidifies the country’s position on the worldwide live music map. Tickets for Shakira’s India tour will be exclusively available through District. HSBC credit cards will have 48 hours of early access from 12 PM IST on February 27 to 12 PM IST on March 1, with general sales beginning at 1 PM IST on March 1.
