Kabir Singh caused a huge uproar when it was released in 2019. While the audience loved Shahid Kapoor’s look and think the film to be his career-best, a certain section of the audience deemed his character to be toxic and misogynistic and even slapped his ladylove Preeti which is very true. 3 years later, now the film completes three years and it also marks the reunion of Shahid with Kiara Advani. Both the actors took to their respective Instagram accounts to share a video of them reuniting and fans cannot keep calm!
Shahid Kapoor And Kiara Advani Reunite
In the video, Shahid and Kiara make an appearance together and walk down a pathway while intensely looking into the camera. The on-screen couple reunited as they are going to be appearing on Koffee With Karan’s upcoming season together. In the video, Kiara is seen wearing a gorgeous white dress whereas Shahid a grey blazer suit over a white shirt. They captioned the video by writing, “3 years of Kabir and Preeti (couple emoji)”.
Fans have rushed to shower love on the couple by commenting on the post. One of them went on to write that they are their favourite couple while another wrote that Shahid and Kiara look good together. Well, honestly speaking after how the makers glorified toxic relationships in the film, I don’t think they should bring Kabir and Preeti back for a second part. Now, looking back at the film, it also makes me think that Kabir Singh and Preeti would have lasted even after the film got over because, given the amount of sh*t she put up when they were together, she would have had no problem dealing with the same post marriage as well!
