One of the most-awaited Bollywood films this year is Shah Rukh Khan’s starrer King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film also stars a talented cast of Deepika Padukone, Abhay Verma, Abhishek Bachchan and even Suhana Khan. Saurabh Shukla, who is also a part of this film, recently spoke about SRK and Suhana’s professional relationship on the set of King. Here’s what he revealed. Read on.
Saurabh Shukla On SRK, Suhana’s Professionalism
The popular and talented Indian actor Saurabh Shukla has worked with Shah Rukh Khan several times. He recently spoke about his experience of working with the superstar different times over the years. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, the actor recalled his first time sharing screen with SRK in Badshah when Khan was in the initial days of his career. He praised the actor for being a brilliant businessman and added that he had single-handedly maintained it all for many years.
Saurabh Shukla then spoke about seeing a different side of Shah Rukh Khan on the set of King, and that was of a father. The actor is sharing the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan, and as per Saurabh Shukla, the two are very professional on the set. The actor also said that SRK was protective as a father but not over-protective, and he understood that his children have their own voice. Saurabh Shukla also added that SRK guided his daughter like a co-star on a film set, and gave her advice during rehearsals.

The first look of SRK in King was revealed on the actor’s 60th birthday, this year. This actor looked intense and promised us some gore action, this time! The film is scheduled to release on 24 December 2026. For the unversed, Suhana Khan made her debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.
