Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan recently teased fans with a new poster from his upcoming film called King, featuring Suhana Khan. The actor has changed his avatar for this new role and looks rugged with a red rose in his teeth and a gun in his hand. Variety India has reported that Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan have started shooting with choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant. The song is supposed to get the same high-energy aura as the two had in the super hit song, Chammak Challo, from the film Ra.One. A source told the organisation that this might bring back the iconic dance and is also said to have international dancers on board. The song will be a party number with a grand set, and the makers are allegedly planning on doing it on a large scale.
Talking about King at the Locarno Film Festival, Khan said that it was an action-drama and that he wanted to do such a film for a while. He further labelled it as massy and an emotional film. It is being directed by Siddharth Anand and also stars Shah Rukh’s daughter, Suhana Khan. The cast is star-studded with Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Jackie Shroff, Raghav Juyal, Abhay Verma, and Arshad Warsi. It is scheduled to release in the theatres on December 24, 2026.
