If you have been reading my articles, you must know by now that I am a huge book nerd! If I get cursed to live in the fictional world for aeons to come, I will consider this as a boon, and hop right into it like Alice went into that hole! I also like to keep a tab on the books recommended by actors and actresses to know their taste, and see if we could become book besties in a parallel world. Well, I recently learned that Shah Rukh Khan loves to read, too, and has revealed his favourite book in the recent #AskSRK session! Oh, this one is definitely going on my TBR straightaway!
In his recent #AskSRK session, one of Shah Rukh Khan’s fans asked him what his favourite novel is. SRK took notice of this tweet, and responded by saying that ‘The Fountainhead’ by Ayn Rand is his favourite book. He added that the book is good but it was quite long and difficult to read.
Given it is Valentine’s Day today, a lot of his fans also asked him questions about it. One of them asked what was the first V-Day gift he gave to Gauri Khan. To this, replied by saying that it was nearly 34 years ago that he and Gauri celebrated their first Valentine’s Day, and he gifted her s pair of ‘pink plastic earrings’!
He concluded his session by writing that his youngest son, AbRam, is back from school, and the little one has many stories to tell him from ‘his day of work’. He also wished his fans a very Happy Valentine’s Day, and thanked them for the love they showed on Pathaan!
