Twitter Tries To Guess Why Kim Cattrall Agreed To Return As Samantha In ‘Sex And The City’ Reboot!

Of the four characters, Samantha Jones is loved immensely by the fans of the show for how unapologetic she is, and being quite opinionated! Fans were heartbroken when they learnt that Kim Cattrall is not going to return as Samantha in the Sex And The City reboot series titled And Just Like That… But there is a piece of good news for the fans as Kim is set to make a cameo in the show as her iconic character! Yes, you read that right, fellas!

As per a CNN report, an HBO/Max spokesperson confirmed the news that Kim Cattrall will return to And Just Like That… to the said portal. Kim will reprise her role as Samantha Jones in a cameo appearance. This is great news for the disheartened fans who wanted Samantha on the show and be her sassy self! Kim Cattrall had previously said several times that she will not be a part of the reboot series.

Reportedly, Kim Cattrall’s cameo has been shot in March this year, and this development was kept under wraps to surprise the fans. As for the details of the cameo, Samantha Jones will be seen on a phone call with Sarah Jessica Parker AKA Carrie Bradshaw. It is also said that she neither interacted with any of the other co-stars including Sarah on the sets nor with Michael Patrick King, the show creator. Kim Cattrall’s return is highly anticipated because she had a fallout with Sarah after the latter and King said that they could not think of a scene to include Samantha.
A lot of Twitter users channelled Samantha’s sassiness and expressed happiness over the return. Given the public feud between Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, many fans wanted to know what it would have taken to get Kim to come back on the show.
