The upcoming military enlistment of Hoshi from the K-pop group SEVENTEEN has recently become a topic of discussion among fans. They are extremely concerned after they found out details about the location where he will begin his training. Fans, aka Carats, are sharing their thoughts and concerns on the internet platform. During Woozi’s appearance at Calm Down Man, he talked about fellow member Hoshi’s military service. Woozi revealed that Hoshi is expected to be assigned to the Yeoncheon training camp when he enlists. Since this particular location is known as a frontline area, situated close to the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ), Carats grew worried.

One fan noted, “yeoncheon? it’s one of the frontline bases near the dmz… hoshi will be serving in a high-alert, combat-ready zone. it’s a respected and tough post, and knowing him, he’ll give it his all. still, it’s hard not to worry. please stay safe, hoshi.” Whereas, another fan wrote, “hoshi will be assigned in yeoncheon (DMZ; boarder line between sokor & nokor) . fighting and praying for your safety always”

Recently, PLEDIS Entertainment, SEVENTEEN’s agency, had previously announced that both Hoshi and Woozi would be enlisting for their mandatory military service in September. According to reports, Woozi is set to begin his active-duty service in the military on September 15, and Hoshi will begin on September 16. Fans are already counting days for their discharge.
