Selena Gomez Reflects On Feeling “Ugly”
When Selena Gomez arrived on the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, she told Miley Cyrus that she had created a culture. To this, Miley replied that she had done the same. At one point, Selena recalled being in a weird blue makeup, with Miley asking her if she was like an alien. The ‘Heart Wants What It Wants’ singer told her, “I remember feeling ugly in that. ’Cause we’re like 15, and I want to feel pretty, and I’m like ugh!”
After this, the duo recalled Hannah and Mikayla’s (played by Selena) relationship on the show’s storyline. Miley told Selena that watching it again made her feel like they were vicious. Selena stated that it was pretty mean and she doesn’t think that they would get away with saying half of that now. She said sorry to the Hannah Montana star, adding she was so mean. The ‘Climb’ singer asked if they could make amends now.

Miley Cyrus Takes Selena Gomez To Hannah’s Closet
At one point in the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, Miley Cyrus takes Selena Gomez to her closet and shows the iconic red hat Mikayla wore. The ‘Come and Get It’ vocalist puts it on and jokes that she was back, and she was not “mad at it.” Their reunion ended with Selena saying that she loved Miley and that she was the best, adding that she was killing it and that she looked great. The ‘Flowers’ singer mentionedm “It’s really sweet to know somebody for 20 years. That means I’ve known you for almost 20 years.” To this, both songstresses said that it was really weird.
