During the episode, after Burd and Batalucco said that they wanted one or two kids, the singer stated that she wanted to have four kids with her husband. Gomez’s reason for wanting four kids was a famous scene from a holiday film called The Family Stone, about unique dynamics present in an unusal family hosting for their son’s girlfriend.
She said that the character played by the late Keaton was a reminder of her nana. After this, Blanco asked Burd if he had seen it, to which the rapper replied that he had not. The duo described this film as sweet and touching, but also so sad. Selena then began explaining the scene and said, “One day at my dinner table, when I’m her age, I want to see that dinner table. But my dream for sure was that scene where they’re all at the dinner table, and they’re just with their partners or their significant others or their kids or single, and it’s just like this beautiful cast of characters.”
