Sean Diddy Combs Slams Inhumane Conditions At Brooklyn Jail In New Bail Plea
Sean Diddy Combs is speaking out against the reportedly harsh conditions at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Centre!

Sean Diddy Combs is speaking out against the reportedly harsh conditions at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Centre (MDC), where he’s currently awaiting sentencing. The 55-year-old music mogul has requested release from custody ahead of his October sentencing date, with his legal team arguing that the jail’s conditions are unacceptable and should factor into bail reconsideration.
Why Did Sean Diddy Complain About Brooklyn Jail?
Sean Diddy Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, recently submitted a letter to Judge Arun Subramanian, stating that the MDC often serves expired food and meals contaminated with maggots. Images submitted with the filing reportedly show spoiled food, which Agnifilo says is not an isolated incident but reflects a broader problem inside the facility. Though he was cleared of the most serious charges in his high-profile trial, he was convicted on July 2 of two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution. Each count carries a possible 10-year sentence, meaning Combs could face up to 20 years behind bars.
Following the conviction, Agnifilo filed for bail again, saying it’s unjust to keep Combs detained after he has shown respect for the legal process. The request by Sean Diddy Combs and his team was denied by Judge Subramanian explaining that he had already been denied bail once. Still, the judge noted he might be open to rescheduling the sentencing date to an earlier time.
Sean Diddy Combs’ legal team criticised the denial, claiming prosecutors are targeting him more harshly than others who’ve faced similar charges. They emphasised that Combs has not posed any threat or attempted to flee and simply wants to return to his family.

Speaking with Variety, Agnifilo said Combs’ time in jail has been especially hard due to the poor food and isolation. He misses his children and hopes to focus on family once he’s released. Meanwhile, rumors are circulating that former President Donald Trump may be considering a pardon, though the White House has not confirmed any such move.
