The video of the entire Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai cast singing the serial’s theme song at Satish Shah’s funeral in Bandra surfaced on social media. It was a heartbreaking sight to watch, and Rupali Ganguly couldn’t control her tears in this moment. However, many on social media wondered why they sang a song at the funeral. One of the cast members, Deven Bhojani, revealed this in his latest social media post. He shared the same video and wrote that it may look “weird and dark” to many people; however he seemed unbothered by these judgements. He further wrote that the team always sang the theme song when they were together. Deven Bhojani also felt Satish Shah AKA Indu’s presence during the moment and that he was also singing the song along with them.

In the comment section, there was only support and love for this gesture and many users opined that it was the best final goodbye to an artist. Many fans also got emotional in the comment section and recalled the happy memories that the show has given to them.
For the unversed, Satish Shah died at the age of 74 due to a sudden kidney failure. He was immediately rushed to the Hinduja Hospital but he couldn’t survive. The unfortunate news was broken by his close friend and filmmaker Ashoke Pandit.
