The infamous track featuring the actress and Sanjay Dutt was slammed online and by many known figures for its objectionable lyrics, which is also objected to by the Union Government. Amit Nora Fatehi In ‘Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke’
The Muslim Personal Darul Iftan in Aligarh has issued fatwa against Bollywood actor Nora Fatehi after the song was slammed for its lyrics. During a chat with ANI, the religious body stated that the content of ‘Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke’ was’objectionable and against Islamic teachings.’ Chief Mufti Ebrahim Hussain, who found issue with the vulgar lyrics of the song told India Today that he found it to be haram and gunah-e-kabira (grave sin).
He also added that participation or even promotion of such content goes against the religious principles. For the unversed, a fatwa is a non-binding legal opinion in Islam issued by a licensed religious law specialist, known as a mufti, on a specific topic. It is not legally enforced by the government.

The Union Government on Wednesday also stated that the song from KD: The Devil have been banned after the slamming of its lyrics and visuals. The Unin Minister for Informing and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw announced this in the Lok Sabha while answering a question asked b Samajwadi Party MP Anand Bhadouria.
