Actor Sara Khan recently opened up about her interfaith marriage and getting approval from their families. She said, “Krish and I belong to different cultures, but we believe both our religions taught us love.” Khan dwelt upon their families, respecting everyone. She thanked everyone for their positive wishes and immense love. The actor said that she also wanted to address the negative comments about her marriage.
She urged people to respect all faiths and not use religion as a reason to demean others. She clarified that she and her partner shared their marital status only with well-wishers and did not seek public approval, as they already had the support of their families and the law. Emphasising that one’s relationship with God is deeply personal, she stated that no one has the right to interfere or comment on it, and that no religion encourages hate or disrespect toward others.

Sara ended her video by stating that she and Krish will celebrate their faiths with a Nikah and a traditional Pahadi Shadi with proper pheras.
