Sara Arjun’s father, Raj Arjun, who spoke at Kommune India’s Spokenfest, revealed hearing that daughters are blessings, but he got to live that blessing too after the actress was born. He mentioned that although he got his first lead role after Sara’s birth and the project got shelved, the setback didn’t demotivate him. Raj stated that if this soul hadn’t come into his life, he wouldn’t have been this person or this artist today. When he was dealing with struggles and uncertainty in life, it was his daughter who held his “soul.” The actor added that Sara took care of him like a “Dhurandhar.” He stated that sometimes you have to be the wind beneath her wings, which he did for Sara. Reflecting on a 2016 incident, when he went with Sara to the casting director Mukesh Chhabra’s office, she held the casting director’s hand and dragged him outside, adding that she turned her destiny towards him and he bagged a role in Secret Superstar.
