Sara Ali Khan spoke about mental health during her recent conversation with Hindustan Times. She revealed about the importance of mental health and how she realised it very early on in her life.
The Metro…In Dino star shared she had always believed that “strength” was not “bottling up” one’s emotions but it was about having the “courage to acknowledge them.” She added that in her profession, there can be extreme pressures and one can easily feel like they have to tackle everything by themselves to be resilient.
The actress also shared that getting help to deal with the same does not signal that one is weak; instead, it can be viewed as the “tools for growth and self-awareness.” Additionally, the Kedarnath star revealed that she believed therapy can be very helpful when one is dealing with hard times, as it provides “a safe space to reflect, to understand your emotions better,” and to be truthful to oneself.
