Filmmaker Santosh Kumar Alleges Dhurandhar 2 Makers Plagiarised Script. Makes Shocking Claims!

Filmmaker Santosh Kumar RS has accused Dhurandhar 2 filmmakers of script plagiarism.

As much as Dhurandhar 2 filmmakers are soaking in the success of the film, they have also been facing backlash for multiple reasons. Talking about the same, filmmaker Santosh Kumar RS has reportedly accused the makers of the film of plagiarising his script. He alleged that the film’s storyline closely mirrored a script he had penned and registered back in 2023. Read on to know all the details about the same below!

Details About Santosh Kumar RS’ Allegations

According to media reports, Santosh Kumar RS stated that after watching the Aditya Dhar directorial film, he came to know it is his script and story, adding that he had written it with a lot of hard work in 2023. Further backing his claim, the filmmaker revealed that he narrated the script to many companies because he was told that if he needed big stars in it, there had to be a corporate organisation backing it. The filmmaker stated that he tried a lot and had sent his story to multiple people. Santosh shared that he is a member of the Screenwriters Association, and he registered his story in November 2023. He further expressed envisioning Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead role and that he had pitched the script to major production houses while trying to develop the project.

He Is Planning To File A Case

Santosh Kumar RS further mentioned that he was planning to file a case on the Ranveer Singh starrer film because according to him, even though they had made a good movie, his story had been “exploited.” The filmmaker shared that he had penned the project for cinema and entertainment, “but they made it as political propaganda. It is hurting me.” Santosh expressed that what happened to him should not happen to anyone; that’s why he will put his maximum effort to make people aware of it.

As far as Dhurandhar 2 goes, it is continuing to dominate the box office and being praised for its storyline and acting performances!
