Recently, the director had a conversation with Sania Mirza, during which he revealed the names of the modern Kuch Kuch Hota Hai cast. When it came to Rahul, he suggested Ranveer Singh’s name. The director suggested Alia Bhatt for the role of Anjali. For Tina’s role, Karan suggested Ananya Panday but also had 2 names in mind: Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan. During their chat, he playfully called the new generations of star kids young “nepo babies.”
