Through immunotherapy, the doctors and Sana are actively trying to avoid a liver transplant, according to the publication. Though the actress agreed that it is going to be tough to avoid the transplant, she had hope to get better soon. She said, “Some days I cry, some days I laugh, but every day, I try. As they say, healing is a journey, and I’m learning as I go.” Sana said that her condition wasn’t so bad, and flared up only recently, leading her to pause work.

Makbul was sad to leave work, as finally, when things were good professionally, her health started deteriorating. She highlighted the emotional toll of suffering from a severe disease when one’s financial and emotional strength depends on no one but themselves.
