Sana Khan Gets Slammed Over Her Comments On Postpartum Depression. Here’s What Happened

Former actor and now content creator Sana Khan has found herself amid a controversy. While many new moms go through post-partum depression and find it hard to battle, Khan’s insensitive comment has ignited the internet. In her recent vlog, she shared her personal experience with pregnancy, post-partum, and childbirth. She said that new moms should not think much about these things and move on.

Sana Khan On Post-Partum Depression

In her newest vlog, Sana Khan said, “If someone is battling postpartum depression, don’t think too much about it. Let it go because, at the end of it, it affects your mental health.” She admitted that it could be a trivial time with a new person always with you and said that she also related to it.

Speaking about her own experiences with postpartum depression she advised moms to find solace in spirituality. Sana said that she also dozed off while feeding her baby many times and that a person could feel lonely even with people around. But her solution to them is to not think too much about being depressed as they would actually start feeling it. She stated that one should overcome it through spirituality.

These comments of Sana Khan didn’t go well with the fans as they slammed her. One user commented, “This is so tone deaf!! Like telling someone with a leg fractured? Don’t think about it, just walk it off,” while another said, “I have been battling depression since a decade now..now tell me why did thinking ‘mujhe kuchh nahi hua hey’, ‘mujhe kuchh nahi hua hey’,’mujhe kuchh nahi hua hey’ for years not help me get out of it? Educate yourself if you lack Common sense otherwise STFU.” One should not comment on sensitive subjects without thinking it through.
