The Ba***ds Of Bollywood show, directed by Aryan Khan, received immense love from people. But with that, the show was also slapped with a  legal case by ex-NCB officer– Sameer Wankhede. For the unversed, Wankhede sued Red Chillies Entertainment and Netflix over defamation, alleging that one of the characters is inspired by him. Now, in the update on the same, Wankhede is reportedly claiming that defendants aren’t taking any action and are rather tight lipped about posts, trolling him, his wife and sister.

As per reports, after the hearing on Wednesday, Red Chillies Entertainment and Netflix received a notice issued by the Delhi High Court over Wankhede’s defamation lawsuit. Senior advocate– Sandeep Sethi, fighting the ex-NCB officer’s case, reportedly stated that in reference to the show, there are posts that are trolling Wankhede, his spouse and sister. He further stated that it was “shocking” and that the defendants are “surely not defending” such posts.

For the unaware, Wankhede’s lawsuit was first filed in the Delhi High Court after Khan’s debut show was released last month. The court dismissed his plea after which he went on to file an amended suit, followed by which the court summoned Red Chillies Entertainment and Netflix.

Which Ba***ds Of Bollywood Scene Is Causing Online Uproar?

In the show, one of the scenes depicts an officer who raids a Bollywood party and detains an actor who does not even carry any drugs. Soon after, the internet shared their opinion on the same and connected resemblance of the actor to Wankhede. This scene also became controversial because back in 2021, Aryan Khan was arrested by Wankhede after a cruise ship raid. Later, Aryan’s charges were dropped.

Talking about Aryan’s Netflix show, multiple scenes soon became the talk of the town, with their resemblance with reality. The show was heavily praised for its unfiltered portrayal of the Hindi film industry and real-life incidents, that took inspiration from Aryan’s life itself. The story is tailored around multiple characters and how certain incidents unfold in Bollywood. What makes this venture more entertaining is that many of our beloved celebrities have starred in it, which many may not have expected.
