VHP Claims Shows Cancelled
The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has announced that Samay Raina’s forthcoming gigs in Gujarat in April have been cancelled due to an uproar over vulgar remarks made during a recent episode of “India’s Got Latent.” They also claimed that tickets for these concerts were no longer available.
Cyber Cell Summons Again
In response to Ranveer Allahbadia’s remarks and outrage, Samay Raina was summoned for the second time this week by the Maharashtra cyber cell.
Samay Raina Requests More Time
Samay Raina is now in the US, and he has assured officials that he will return on March 17. He has asked for further time to answer to the summons. However, the Cyber Cell declined his plea.

The Mumbai Police has recorded statements from seven people, including The Rebel Kid, aka Apoorva Makhija. Moreover, Ranveer Allahbadia is likely to appear before the police shortly.
Investigation
As part of its probe, the Maharashtra Cyber Department has summoned more than 40 people, including prior show participants and judges. A case has also been filed against Allahbadia and four others by the Guwahati Police, who have dispatched a team to Mumbai for further investigation. For the unversed, earlier Samay Raina broke silence on this situation and removed all videos of India’s Got Latent.
