Samay Raina’s reality show India’s Got Latent has always been in some kind of controversy for its unhinged content and dark humour. It is again gaining attention for all the wrong reasons. An FIR has been lodged against the show after a contestant made some derogatory remarks about the Indigenous people of, Arunachal Pradesh. The FIR has been lodged by Armaan Ram Welly Bakha at the Itanagar Police Station, Arunachal Pradesh.
What Happened?
In one of the episodes of India’s Got Latent, a contestant was asked by Samay Raina if people in Arunachal Pradesh eat dogs. The contestant said yes but denied tasting it herself. The contestant by the name Jessy Nabam also said that she has a pet and therefore has never eaten dog meat but went on to add that some of her friends had also eaten their pets.
Samay Raina reacted in disbelief. However, this conversation was taken well by some people. The FIR was lodged against India’s Got Latent contestant by Armaan Ram Welly Bakha, a resident of Seppa, East Kameng District, Arunachal Pradesh. The FIR was addressed to the police officer in charge of the Itanagar police station. The person requested swift action against the contestant for casually making such derogatory remarks about the Indigenous people of Arunachal Pradesh.

The picture of this FIR also did rounds on social media. Samay Raina has not reacted to this FIR as of now.

Recently, social media star Uorfi Javed also reacted to why she had left the show. While she praised Samay Raina’s support and friendship, Uorfi revealed that the real reason for walking out of the show was some questionable remarks by a contestant.
