Two days after their wedding announcement, a close friend, Meghna, revealed some unseen pictures from actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s mehendi function. The actress kept her mehendi ceremony attire elegant yet casual, wearing a yellow Banarasi suit paired with a green dupatta. Ditching heavy jewellery and makeup, Samantha Ruth Prabhu chose a soft and natural look.
In one of the pictures, Samantha is seen showing her mehendi to Raj Nidimoru while he cutely clicks the design on his phone. Another picture shows Samantha laughing freely as Raj continues to take pictures of her, completely smitten by her.
Sharing these pictures, Meghna wrote an emotional note about how Samantha’s happiness moved her and that she gained a brother for life in Raj. Her words about love, steadiness and newfound happiness just added that extra emotional layer to the already touching photographs.
Arulmozhi Ilavarasu, Samantha’s bridal mehendi artist, too, shared details about the design in an interview with ETimes. She stated that Samantha requested a minimalistic yet traditional henna pattern, as per the modern-day bride trend.
The mehendi design itself was kept light, with Raj’s name subtly being hidden in Samantha’s right middle finger. The actress shared that the entire mehendi application process only took about an hour.
