Haq is inspired by the case involving Shah Bano, who was divorced by her husband, Mohd. Ahmed Khan in 1978. In 1979, she filed a case seeking maintenance from him. At the time, under Islamic Law, a woman was only entitled to maintenance for 90 days after divorce during the period of iddat. This courtroom drama will truly keep you hooked from start to end.
