Why Samantha Ruth Prabhu Wanted A Replacement?
The Citadel: Honey Bunny trailer was dropped recently and it was quite loved by the fans. However, in a recent interview, the lead star Samantha Ruth Prabhu revealed that she did not want to do the show after learning about myositis. Samantha said she was going through the treatment during the shoot and felt too weak. During the Galatta India interview, the actress also revealed that she begged Raj And Dk to find a replacement for her, and added that she even suggested actresses who would be perfect for the role.
However, Samantha Ruth Prabhu further expressed gratitude that the series was not made without her. She felt proud after seeing the final product and also wanted to give a pat on her back for successfully making it to the end.
In the trailer, Samantha is seen doing some killer action sequences too. For the unversed, the series is a prequel to Priyanka Chopra’s original Russo Brothers show Citadel. The series also stars Kay Kay Menon in a pivotal role. Citadel: Honey Bunny is set to be released on Prime Video on November 7.
