Throwback To When Samantha Ruth Prabhu Regretted Her Decision To Get Tattoos For Ex-Husband Naga Chaitanya

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been making headlines since her public split with ex-husband Naga Chaitanya. Their divorce shocked fans to the core after they had a fairytale wedding in Goa. While the actress has maintained her silence on the situation, during a previous Ask Me Anything session, she spoke about how she regretted getting tattooed for him and said that she would never do it again.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu On Her Tattoos

Samantha Ruth Prabhu had an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Instagram in 2024. The actress addressed several questions openly. However, one of the fans took the opportunity and asked her if she had any plans to get tattooed in the future. Samantha not only openly denied getting inked in the future but also hinted at her remorse about getting tattoos for her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya. She had three tattoos, which meant a lot to their relationship.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s first tattoo was on the nape of her neck and read ‘YMC’. The acronym relates to Ye Maaya Chesave (2010), her debut film with Naga Chaitanya. She later got a matching tattoo with her then-husband, Naga Chaitanya, on her forearm. On several instances, the two were spotted wearing the same Viking emblem, which included two arrows.

The actress got a third tattoo on her rib. This was the most straightforward of them all, as it said ‘Chay’, one of Naga Chaitanya’s nicknames. Samantha initially showed off her new addition in a 2019 Instagram picture, where she tagged Naga and referred to him as her husband and her world. However, after their separation, Samantha is thought to have had this removed, as it is no longer visible in her photos after 2023.
