She revealed that the separation from ex-husband Naga Chaitanya had affected her emotionally and how her current spouse, Raj Nidimoru, helped her transform. Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared about her emotional transformation with Vogue. The actress recalled that when she went through a separation, she “closed up” completely. She reflected thinking that it won’t be possible for her to rely on someone else. Samantha then said that she was thankfully vulnerable enough to accept that kind of love and friendship, adding that she is a much better person because of the relationship she is in, because of the person Raj Nidimoru is.
Further, she also recalled meeting an old friend, after which she received a voice note. The friend said to Samantha that this was the first time in a long time that the actress wasn’t struggling to breathe. The Dokudu star also told the publication that she was not performing anymore.
When Did She Marry Raj Nidimoru?
Samantha Ruth Prabhu reportedly met Raj Nidimoru for the first time while working on The Family Man. After that, the couple once again worked together on Citadel. It wasn’t until 2024 that they sparked relationship rumours. However, the pair kept it low-key and directly hard-launched it by dropping wedding pictures online. They tied the knot on December 1, 2025. For the unversed, she was previously married to Naga Chaitanya but the trouble in paradise led them to go their separate ways in 2021. Naga Chaitanya then moved on and tied the knot with actress Sobhita Dhulipala in 2024.
