Samantha Ruth Prabhu is enjoying doing action in the Indian instalment of the global franchise, Citadel. She and Varun Dhawan have been taken aboard this project, and filming is in full swing. Currently, Samantha is also busy with promotional duties for her mythological drama, Shaakuntalam, and has been giving interviews. In a recent interview, she was asked how she managed to do hard-core action sequences after her diagnosis with myositis, an autoimmune disease. To this, she said that she likes the ‘she is good at action’ tag.
In an interview with PTI, Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared what it was like doing action post her myositis diagnosis. She said that given how challenging things have been on the health front for her, she is glad that she is able to do what she is doing in Citadel. She also said that she is grateful to the team for being patient with her.
When asked if she took precautionary steps to prevent injuries while shooting for Citadel, Samantha Ruth Prabhu said that she is the worst when it comes to that. Elaborating more, she said that she just wants to dive right into it, and also has been told by her co-stars to be more careful and better prepared while doing scenes like these. Furthermore, Samantha also added that it is not every day that an actress will get the tag of being good at action so, she just wants to push herself and give her best so that the tag does not go away.

She also has been giving glimpses into her action-filled day while shooting Citadel. She had gotten her hands injured recently while performing action for the series and shared the picture on her social media for her fans to see.
