Salman Khan Recieves New Death Threats
According to police sources, the message came from an unidentified number and directly referenced an attack on the actor’s life. The threat claimed that the perpetrators would storm Salman’s home, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, and carry out the act. Authorities have filed a complaint and an investigation is underway to trace the sender of the chilling message. This isn’t the first time Salman Khan’s life has been under threat. In fact, the actor has been the target of multiple threats over the past two years. His security has been heightened significantly since last year, when shots were fired outside his Bandra residence by individuals believed to be connected to the Bishnoi gang a criminal group with alleged links to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
The Bishnoi gang’s hostility towards Salman reportedly stems from the blackbuck poaching incident from the 1990s, in which Salman was accused of hunting the protected species during the shooting of Hum Saath-Saath Hain. Though courts eventually dismissed the case against him, Lawrence Bishnoi has repeatedly demanded that Salman publicly apologize in Rajasthan or face consequences. The community regards the blackbuck as sacred, and the case has continued to fuel tensions despite legal closure.

Mumbai Police had previously foiled an alleged plan by the gang to assassinate the actor at his Panvel farmhouse. Since then, his security detail has been bolstered with Y+ level protection, which includes armed commandos and round-the-clock surveillance. This latest threat, however, raises fresh questions about how persistent the risk remains.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Salman Khan was last seen in Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss. Despite being positioned as a big Eid release, the film has underperformed at the box office, bringing in around 200 crore globally.
