The recent floods in Assam have affected multiple families and has also had some unfortunate deaths. Amid this, reports suggest that Salman Khan’s brand Being Human has made sure to help those who were affected by the same. Salman Khan Helps Assam
A Mid-Day report stated that 220 semi-permanent houses in Nepali Khuti, the worst hit village has been built by Salman Khan’s team. This was the third phase of his relief plan, but he has decided to fast-track it after watching videos of Randeep Hooda handling the on-ground relief work. The report also suggests that the actor connected with Randeep through a mutual friend. A source told the portal that Hooda told Salman 70 of them had been-working together under the Global Sikhs’ relief. Their head, Amanpreet Singh told Khan that they were planning on building semi-permanent houses out of bamboos and tin sheds that would be flood-proof. Reportedly, each other then cost about Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000. After this, Salman also joined hands with the foundation and they pledged to build 500 houses.

Amanpreet Singh told the portal that the Bollywood actor spoke to them and asked them “not to worry.” Speaking about the floods, currently Sivasagar is the worst affected region with Nepali Khuti as its epicentre.
