Amid this, an old video of Salim Khan has been going viral where he revealed that his son looks for his mother’s qualities in the woman he is dating and even asks her to leave her career.

Salim Khan On Why Salman Khan Isn’t Married

During an old conversation with Komal Nahta, Salim Khan disclosed that Salman Khan’s contradictory thinking is one of the thinking he isn’t married. He said that his son is mostly attracted to the heroines he works with as they are exciting and good-looking. People come close because voh close atmosphere main rehte hain. Toh 90 per cent of the time jo uss film ki heroine hi hoti hai voh,” he said.

Salim Khan mentioned that Salman Khan looks for his mother’s qualities in the heroines he dates. He said that it was wrong of him to expect a career-oriented woman to leave her work and sit at home to do basic chores. He also revealed that Salman tries to convert his partners into his mother after they date, which is not possible. Salim Khan said that a working actress cannot do daily chores like taking kids to school and feeding them lunch.

Even though the conversation seems to be old, it still reeks of patriarchy. An educated actor with al the facilities should be supportive of his partner doing what she likes. Asking your partner to be someone else can be a red flag in a relationship and one must always avoid it.
