For the unversed, Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap tied the knot in December 2018 after years of friendship and shared experiences as professional badminton players. As per reports, they connected well due to their mutual passion for the sport.
Nehwal became the first Indian woman to reach the world No. 1 ranking in 2015 and Kashyap also made history by winning gold at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. He became the first Indian male shuttler to do so in over 30 years.
