Saif Ali Khan To Be Discharged From Hospital Today: Reports
Saif Ali Khan's attacker was identified as Mohammed Shehzad, a national-level wrestling champion from Bangladesh.

Due to an unfortunate stabbing incident at his Bandra residence, Saif Ali Khan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital for recovery on Thursday, January 21. The actor’s house was intruded on by a Bangladeshi man at 2:15 AM and he was stabbed multiple times near the spine. Recent updates suggest that Saif Ali Khan will be discharged from the hospital this afternoon. However, the doctors recommended that the actor rest for a few more days.

As per doctors from Lilavati Hospital, the actor would be discharged on Tuesday, January 21, afternoon. They also recommended he rest for a while. Khan suffered six stab wounds in an attempt to fight off the intruder. As per reports, the doctors removed a 2.5-inch knife from his wound. After that, he was shifted from the ICU for recovery.
Mumbai Police arrested the main culprit from Thane and gave a statement saying that he was a Bangladeshi who entered India illegally. The attacker was identified as Mohammed Shehzad, a national-level wrestling champion who said that he was unaware of Saif’s identity before intruding. He is currently under police custody and was produced in Bandra court on Sunday, January 19.
The accused’s statement about him being unaware of the star’s identity was consistent with the rickshaw driver who drove him to the hospital. He also admitted that he didn’t realise that he was driving Saif Ali Khan. He also admitted that his and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s son Taimur Ali Khan also came along with him.
