In Bollywood, it’s very common to see massive age gaps between male and female lead actors on screen. While this is accepted in the industry, it also faces a lot of criticism from audiences and critics. People often question why such significant age differences are portrayed as normal or romantic. Speaking on a similar topic, Saiee Manjrekar opened up about the negativity Dabangg 3 received due to the age gap between her and Salman Khan.
Saiee Manjrekar On 36 Years Age Gap With Salman Khan
In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Saiee Manjrekar talked about the negativity around the age gap with her co-star Salman Khan. Saiee added that she didn’t pay much attention to that talk because when she just started and Dabangg 3 came out, she didn’t have a PR or marketing team. So, she didn’t know what was going on. She was just happy to see herself on the big screen. However, after six months, when she was more active on social media, she saw everything and thought, “Hmm.”
Furthermore, she added that it didn’t bother her much because a lot of time had gone by, and she was already busy with another project. Additionally, she found out about it when she was in a different phase of her life and career and shared that she’s tough and things don’t get to her quickly. “That’s just how I’ve always been” Saiee added. For the unversed, Saiee Manjrekar made her debut with Dabangg 3 alongside Salman Khan. Dabanng 3 is directed by Prabhudeva and is produced by Salman Khan Films, Arbaaz Khan Productions and Saffron Broadcast & Media Limited.
