Music Composer Sachin Sanghvi Arrested In S*xual Harassment Case. All We Know

Shocking news surfaced on October 24 about music composer Sachin Sanghvi, of the famous Sachin-Jigar duo. The composer was reportedly arrested in an alleged s*xual harassment case. However, he has received a bail, and the advocate representing the artist has dismissed all such claims. As per him, they would be fighting all the allegations that have been claimed by the complainant. As of now, the composer’s official social media handle has also been deactivated. Read here for more.
What Is The Case?
As per a Hindustan Times report, Sachin Sanghvi was arrested in a harassment case under the IPC sections. The arrest took place on Friday, October 23, however, his advocate confirmed that he has gotten a bail. As per the reports, the complainant is a woman in her 20s who has alleged that the music composer approached her on Instagram and promised her a feature in one of his upcoming music album. They eventually exchanged phone numbers too, as per the PTI report. Furthermore, as per the complainant, Sachin Jigar invited her to a music studio and proposed to her. Reportedly, he also s*xually harassed her on many occasions.
However, advocate Aditya Mithe has reacted to the claims and dismissed it. In his opinion, the claims are baseless and hold no ground. In his statement to the media, Aditya Mithe also stated that the arrest made by the police was illegal, and therefore he was also released on bail immediately. Sachin Sanghvi’s official Instagram handle has been deactivated, and he has not made any comments on the matter so far.
