Hrithik Khan’s partner, actor Saba Azad, was recently hospitalised for a parasitic infection. Posting a picture on her social media with her in a hospital bed, she broke the news, detailing how difficult the infection was, how she lost a bunch of weight, and how much she appreciated Roshan’s support through the ordeal. Saba Azad Reveals Details About Her Recent Hospital Visit, Says Hrithik Roshan Kept Her Spirits High!
Confirming that she had Cyclospora cayetanensis, Saba Azad detailed how the infection took over life for two weeks, confining her to bed in that time. Apparently she lost a significant amount of weight, and became very weak.
In her Instagram post, she is shown lying on a hospital bed. In the caption she called the fortnight the “worst 14 days” of her life. Talking about how the infection was a surprise especially because she was very particular about what she eats. As someone who eats just homemade food and carries her own water, having a “bug” of this description seemed to come out of the blue. This especially bothered her as it was the “busiest time of the year.”
Mentioning her suddenly losing four kilograms of weight, she added that she couldn’t even walk out of weakness. She used to be very fit, hitting the gym two times every day before Cyclospora knocked her down. From someone who would do pull-ups and lift heavy weights, she became confined to bed. Additionally, she barely had energy to “lift a goddamn toothpick.”
Then, she suggested that everyone be wary about consuming fresh vegetables and fruits. Washing them well would avoid chances of infections like the one she got. Recommending a “baking soda veggie wash,” she said one’s gut and life might depend on it.
Concluding by thanking her partner Hrithik Roshan, she said that he was the one who clicked the picture of her in bed. Although she felt “grumpy,” the War actor helped cheer her up and “find humour” even in difficult situations. She also added a PS, clarifying that she wasn’t as tiny as the photograph was making her seem. Rather it was the size of the bed and the angle making her look smaller in stature.
