The trailer gave a peak into how Alia as Rani and Ranveer as Rocky come from different family backgrounds but fall in love because as they say, “Love sees no age, gender or caste.” Their personalities are very different but they fall head over heels in each other. But the only issue here is that their families would not approve of their union. So, Rocky comes up with an excellent idea to solve this issue but looks this solution will cause more problems between them.

Alia Bhatt as Rani looks refreshing. Her wardrobe, her dialogue delivery, and her personality are very forthcoming. She looks like a strong-willed woman can keep a man like Rocky tamed. Ranveer as Rocky reflects his own personality. He is loud with his fashion and opinions and does not care what people think about him.

Also, the plot is giving 2 States vibes only this time it is a Sindhi lover with a Bengali beauty. Shabana Azmi looks like the cool aunt whereas Jaya Bachchan is against Rocky and Rani’s relationship. Dharmendra ji is all for not breaking up relationships.
