During a recent chat with News18, Ranbir Kapoor’s sister opened up about the constant trolling and judgement received by her family. She said that there are judgements everywhere. She continued, “People always find something to say. People assume it’s all about privilege, but they don’t see what we go through.” She said that she was secure and proud of the fact that she has a supportive, husband, lovely daughter, brother, and sister-in-law. She further added that she was not going to be apologetic for that.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni said that her perspective of privilege is having a family that loves you and being content with that. Addressing a direct comment to the trolls she said that people would always find a reason to say anything and, “Logon ka kaam hai bolna, bolenge.” She pointed that people instantly judge when one is wrong, but never applaud when they are right.
Alia Bhatt also addressed the situation on Instagram, stating, “Absolutely NO JUDGMENT against anyone who chooses cosmetic fixes or surgery – your body, your decision. But yeah, this is so insane!” She expressed concern about the impact of such false reports, particularly on younger audiences who may be misled by these rumours. “What’s worse, you’re influencing young, impressionable minds who might actually believe this garbage,” she claimed.
