She highlighted how he’s been adjusting his work schedule to be more present. “Ali is very hands-on and is timing his work commitments accordingly. I believe fathers should always be around. It’s not just about helping the mother but also about spending time with the child,” she emphasized, showcasing her appreciation for Ali’s dedication.
Maternity And Paternity Plans
Richa, currently in her third trimester and due in July, has planned her maternity leave and is keen on Ali also considering paternity leave. While she’s gearing up for the arrival of their baby, Richa has also planned her professional return. She revealed that she intends to resume work by October, starring in a romantic comedy featuring 18 songs, set to be filmed in Himachal Pradesh. “We need the season of autumn and the skyline of Himachal, just before winter, for our shoot. The film revolves around a musical band in a small hill town. It’s a love story with family dynamics,” she shared.
Drawing Inspiration from Strong Women
Richa’s drive to continue working despite her pregnancy stems from the strong women in her life. She recounted how her mother returned to work just a month after giving birth to her brother. Richa also lauded the women around her, including her house help, for their resilience and strength. “It’s about the support system around you. The help you get and the family support are crucial for new mothers,” Richa noted.
