The Sushant Singh Rajput death case on June 14, 2020, sent shockwaves across the country. Actress Rhea Chakraborty and her family were also questioned by CBI during the investigation. However, the CBI has now filed for the closure of the SSR death case and has ruled out any foul play in the matter. What Did The CBI Say?
The CBI recently filed for the closure of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. They have ruled out the possibility of any foul play in the case. After the CBI’s clean chit to Rhea Chakraborty and her family in the matter, the actress was spotted visiting the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. She was accompanied by her father Indrajit Chakraborty and brother Showik. Rhea Chakraborty opted for a simple pink and white kurta and also carried a dupatta with the outfit. She went for a bare face with no makeup and was dressed simply for the occasion. Rhea Chakraborty has also met the paparazzi.

For the unversed, Rhea Chakraborty and her family were questioned in the SSR death case, and she was also held in police custody as the suspect in allegedly abetting the death of SSR. She has been relieved of such allegations after the CBI gave her a clean chit. The actress also had unfair media trials. However, she had always gotten a lot of support from her friends in the industry. After CBI’s recent statement, Dia Mirza and Soni Razdan also asked the media to apologise to Rhea. Similar backlash for the media is currently happening on social media.
