In the same episode, she opened up about her healing journey and the various challenges she faced after the death of her ex-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput. Rhea Chakraborty Opens About Her Healing Journey
During her recent episode, actor Aamir Khan praised Rhea Chakraborty for her strength reflecting how her life changed dramatically following the catastrophe and how she has managed to remain strong despite the daunting circumstances. He said that he would label the incident as a tragedy. He pointed out that even though her life changed after that, she showed patience and strength and didn’t lose hope in herself and that we can all learn from that. He said that she is truly starting her next chapter.
Rhea Chakraborty, in turn, gave insights into her recovery process, demonstrating how her childhood and obstacles helped her develop resilience. She discussed the profound impact of loss, anxiety, and PTSD, which took years to overcome, but now feels revitalized and ready to embrace new beginnings. She said that an army upbringing made a difference for her as life is tough. She mentioned that she had it tough in her childhood as she would see her dad go with a slight possibility that he might not come back. She also added that she was always taught never to give up and have hope. Aamir Khan told her to be proud of herself.

The actor said that it took her time to start her podcast as she was healing because of the pain, heartbreak, and PTSD. She mentioned that some days she might be talking to someone when her grief appeared out of the blue. Even with everything, today she feels like I have new energy. She said that she wants to meet new individuals and that her interest has been piqued. “There is depression training your thoughts. After overcoming it, I feel as if the sun is rising again. I feel like trying new things.”
Rhea also revealed her true purpose for beginning her podcast, emphasizing her desire to establish a safe space for truthful conversations, particularly following her negative experiences with traditional and new media. She stressed that her podcast allows her to speak candidly without fear of being misinterpreted.
