Reddit Is Losing It Over Kriti Sanon’s Sita Looking Taller Than Saif’s Raavan In ‘Adipurush’!

The trailer of Adipurush was launched on May 9, and the Internet still remains divided over how bad it still looks VS the makers have done a better job than the teaser. Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush is a Ramayana story that highlights how Sita was kidnapped by Ravana. The cast of the film includes Prabhas in the role of Ram, Kriti Sanon in the role of Sita, Saif Ali Khan in the role of Raavan and Sunny Singh essaying the role of Lakshman. Some of the comments on the trailer were genuinely even funny but it is a Reddit user who takes the trophy home for making the observation that Kriti AKA Sita in the film is taller than Saif AKA Raavan!

One of the Reddit users shared the picture of Kriti Sanon in the role of Sita from the Adipurush trailer and expressed their shock at the poor casting choice on the director’s part. It was on this post that another Redditor replied and said that Sita was not as tall as she is portrayed in the film and it is difficult to portray tall women as defenceless. So, Kriti looks even taller than Raavan which makes it hard to believe that he could have been able to kidnap her!

A lot of people even thought that Kriti Sanon is miscast in the film for the role because she has “too harsh” features which Sita is not said to have! Many said that she looks too modern for the role and has not added the grace she was expected to.

The initial teaser of Adipurush received massive backlash for being too heavy on the VFX. There were dragons shown in the teaser, and Saif Ali Khan was shown to sport spikes. The official trailer received positive reviews on Twitter. The film is set to hit theatres on June 16, 2023.
