Real Reason For Ryu Jun Yeol’s Absence From Reply 1988 10th Anniversary Reunion Revealed
Ryu Jun Yeol’s absence from the 10th anniversary reunion of Reply 1988 sparked major reactions. Ryu Jun Yeol and the K-drama’s lead actress Lee Hyeri started dating in 2017 and after they met while filming. However, the couple broke up in 2023. The breakup was quite messy and public, leading people to think that this was the reason Ryu Jun Yeol skipped the reunion.
On 16th December, Reply 1988’s actors Lee Dong Hwi and Go Kyung Pyo appeared in a YouTube video alongside Producer Na Young Seok to reminisce about the drama Reply 1988 and share behind-the-scenes stories. It was during this conversation that the producer revealed that all Ssangmun-dong gathered together for the trip, with not one person missing.
He confirmed that he also stopped by briefly in the morning; however was not able to join the entire trip due to his busy schedule. Na Young’s explanation clarifies the fact that the actor did not miss the reunion due to personal reasons. It was just scheduling, and Ryu Jun Yeol did not skip the meaningful 10th anniversary celebration because of his complicated relationship with ex-girlfriend and co-star Hyeri.
