On late saturday night, a video went viral, where actress Raveena Tandon was seen being accused and mobbed by a family for assaulting the women and hitting them with her car. Actor Raveena and her driver were accused of rash driving while being intoxicated. Now the police have given a clean chit to the actress after a CCTV footage proved her innocence, now the actress has reacted to the same.
Raveena Tandon Reacts To Clean Chit In Rash Driving Case
Raveena Tandon was given a clean chit by the Deputy Commissioner of Police who stated that the allegations of rash driving and assault against her were all false as proven by the CCTV footage. The DCP also clarified that Raveena only interfered to save her driver from the angry mob and nobody was hurt during the argument. Raveena Tandon reacted to the police giving her a clean chit and shared an instagram story thanking everyone for the overwhelming love, belief and support and added that the moral of the story is to get dashcams and CCTV cameras.
The actress previously shared multiple Instagram stories to prove her innocence, sharing multiple news articles as well. Lok Sabha elections 2024 winner Kangana Ranaut also reacted to the incident and came in support of actor Raveena calling the road outrage a poisonous behaviour. Kangana further expressed her concern over the matter and pointed out how if there had been more than 5-6 people they would have lynched Raveena Tandon.

What Had Happened?
The incident took place on Bandra’s Carter Road just outside Raveena’s house, when her driver was trying to park the car when a family was passing by, and accused the actor of physical assault and drunk driving. In the viral video, a hijabi woman was seen showing blood flowing from her nose because of the alleged assault by Raveena Tandon. On Tuesday, Raveena Tandon received a clean chit from the DCP.
