Raveena Tandon Hopes Cricketers Wear Black Bands During India-Pakistan Match As Tribute To Pahalgam Victims

The India-Pakistan match for the Asia Cup 2025 has received a lot of criticism on social media. Many people have even boycotted the match. Some even condemned BCCI for allowing the cricketers to go ahead with it. This outrage happened, keeping in mind the horrifying terrorist attack in Pahalgam that took so many innocent lives. Now, actor Raveena Tandon has commented on the same, and here’s what she wishes the Indian cricketers to do on the field. Read on for more.

What Did Raveena Tandon Say?

Raveena Tandon has shared her thoughts on the India-Pakistan match amid the call of ‘Boycott’. While the actor is okay with the match, she has a request, or rather hopes that the cricketers would pay tribute to the victims of the Pahalgam match. She took to her Twitter account and penned a note on the same. Raveena Tandon wrote that she hoped that the Indian cricketers would at least wear black bands during the match and take a knee before accepting victory as a gesture to show tribute to the people who lost their lives in the attack.

Many Twitter users condemned the match and wrote that they would be boycotting it. On the other Suniel Shetty also shared his thoughts on the matter while talking to reporters in Delhi. He said that the cricketers should not be blamed for playing the match as it was not in their hands to decided. However, the actor also added that every person had the right to choose to watch or not watch the match, and that was a decision India had to make.

The wife and Pahalgam victim also slammed the India-Pakistan match. They also urged Indians to boycott the match.
