During their meeting with Amit Shah, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda came with a formal invitation card along with a silver idol of Lord Ganesh placed inside an ornate box. They were seen interacting with the Home Minister and smiling as they handed over the invitation and exchanged pleasantries. The actress donned a mustard suit with open hair and minimal makeup, while Vijay went for an ivory Indo-Western outfit.

A few days before their wedding, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated the couple. In a letter to Deverakonda’s parents, he wrote, “It is a pleasure to be invited by you to the wedding of Vijay and Rashmika to be held on February 26, 2026. Heartiest congratulations, and greetings to the Deverakonda and Mandanna families on this truly joyous and auspicious occasion.”
Modi referred to the marriage as a new, beautiful chapter, noting that neither Vijay nor Rashmika is new to storylines in their flicks. But this wonderfully scripted chapter of their real life, full of love and affection, will undoubtedly eclipse the magic they have produced on the big screen.

Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding was a private event with a small guest list. Celebrities who attended the wedding in Udaipur included directors Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Rahul Ravindran, and Tharun Bhascker, actors Kalyani Priyadarshan, Eesha Rebba, and Ashika Ranganath, as well as stylist Shravya Varma.
