Rashmika Mandanna received the Best Actress award from Ram Charan and the Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards for her performance in The Girlfriend. While accepting the award, the actress reportedly stated, “First they trolled my performance, and now the state has given me this award. I’ve come a long way.” In case you don’t know, Rashmika Mandanna has been trolled for her previous performances; particularly when her film with Ranbir Kapoor, Animal, was released, she was called out for her Hindi accent.
