It seems that after Dhurandhar’s massive success, Ranveer Singh will be busy with exciting projects. Talking about the same, the actor will be next seen in a film titled Pralay, a high- concept zombie drama reportedly set against the COVID-19 pandemic backdrop. This comes after Ranveer’s shocking exit from Don 3. As he gears up for this project, here’s everything you need to know about!

Ranveer Singh Will Star In Pralay

According to Pinkvilla, Pralay is set to feature large-scale action with strong human emotions revolving around a family in distress. With a Rs. 300 crore budget, the film is the most expensive standalone project in Ranveer Singh‘s career. The story will focus on a married couple’s fight to survive in dystopian Mumbai.  A source close to the development stated that Padmavat star has entered into a backend profit-sharing deal and is also involved in every stage, including the VFX planning and script development. Additionally, this film will be extra special for Ranveer as it also marks the first project under his production banner, Maa Kasam Films. It is also being said that Pralay will equally and heavily rely on VFX and content. The project is expected to redefine the zombie genre in the Indian film industry.

Who Will Be Pralay’s Female Lead?

As per the report, marking her Bollywood debut, actress Kalyani Priyadarshan is set to play the female lead in Pralay. Although there is no official announcement regarding the same, seeing this on-screen jodi would be refreshing. As far as its development goes, the Ranveer Singh starrer film is set to go on floor from May or June 2026. In the meantime, the actor will be busy with Dhurandhar 2, which is slated to release on March 19.
