In the advertisement, Ranveer Singh donned a maroon kurta with long hair and asked Johnny Sins’ wife about her decision to leave their fictional joint family. Since its online debut, the ad has ignited a flurry of reactions. Users across social media platforms expressed their astonishment at the unconventional pairing of Ranveer Singh and Johnny Sins.
Internet users are in disbelief after witnessing Johnny Sins in an Indian commercial with Ranveer Singh. Several users pointed out that even in their wildest dreams they couldn’t have imagined Johnny Sins in an “Ekta Kapoor” style daily soap. The ad was quickly termed “next level advertising”. Fans were going crazy demanding more episodes of this soap, and coming up with creative names for it. NGL, who wouldn’t want more episodes for such a fun soap?

However, Rashami Desai, expressing disappointment on Instagram, feels the ad is a humiliation to the TV industry, highlighting the challenges faced by actors working on the small screen. The actor conveyed her disappointment, stating that she started working in the regional film industry and then worked in television. She went on to highlight that people call television a small screen where the mango man watches the news, cricket, films and so much more. Rashami pointed out that the commercial seemed like “humiliation” for the television industry and it feels like a “slap”.
